01 What’s your role within the French startup Antsway?
I am a Business Development Manager at Antsway. Within the French startup, i am responsible for business development and attracting new customers in Eastern Europe.
02 Please, could you talk about your educational background?
I graduated with honours from the magistracy of the Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University with a master degree in Computer Science and Information Technology. Now I am a PhD student of this university in the Department of Management Technologies.
During my studies at the magistracy, I successfully completed two internships as a project manager in leading IT companies in Ukraine. I coordinated projects, negotiated with customers and managed development teams.
Also, I received a certificate of successful completion of the business education program “yep!Starter”, which was organised by the Ukrainian-Estonian entrepreneurship organisation. This educational program lasted 5 months and in the final, I won the 3rd place in the competition of startup projects.
03 What’s your thesis topic and your projects at Antsway?
The topic of my dissertation is “Models and methods for managing IT startups based on research using hybrid methodologies”. The thesis will be devoted to optimizing the work of the team in IT startups.
04 Why did you decide to join the French startup Antsway?
Since the topic of my dissertation is devoted to innovational models and methods of managing IT startups based on scientific research, I was looking for just such a team that has already launched its product on the market but continues to evolve. Antsway already has 4 years of experience in the market and I wanted to absorb it and supplement it with my own experience. I like that the founders of the company Mark and Ammar are real professionals in their field. Furthermore, they are willing to devote a lot of time to the development of the company. In addition, the very idea of a startup is very close to me, I like the fact that we help people optimize their delivery routes and thereby reduce the miscarriage of carbon dioxide.
05 Could you say a few words about your arrival within the team?
I was immediately brought up to date, showed all the materials and made a demonstration of the software. The team is very open and responsive. In addition, they all know English, which made it easier for me to integrate into a new company.
06 What do you enjoy most within your job?
As a Business Development Manager, I am very interested in the development of our company for entering new markets. This is a very big, but at the same time very motivating task. I like that it is filled with many technical and creative tasks. Every new working day is not like the previous one. In addition, I really like the team spirit and openness of the company’s founders.
